My little man is a year and a half today. I'm am so proud of my son. Some words he knows and is able to says rather well are, bubble, apple, ball, cat, elmo, leche, no, and dada. It's funny how he'll sit with a book in his lap turning the pages as if he is actually reading it. He's getting pretty good at using a fork and feeding himself. Recently he started becoming attached to his stuffed animals mainly his Elmo and Woody which I find incredibly darling. I love when I tell him "ok let's put on your shoes" and he comes over and sticks his feet in the shoe or sits on my lap so I can put them on him. He helps me dress him and it just warms my heart how much he's grown in such a short time. Often I find that he knows things before I even realize. I few weeks ago I said "belly" and he lifted his shirt and showed me his belly, I was surprised. I figured I'd name some other things and he knew them as well... head, eye, nose, mouth, toes.
I've been a mother for 18 months now and it is still so new and amazing.
Congrats on your little guy's 18 month milestone. That is SUCH a fun age. Thanks for reposting my blog!
