This is in the corner of my son's nursery. I collect recyclables and take them to USF where there are bins for recycling. The drive is about 20-25 minutes. This was much easier for me before I had my son. This takes up space in my small apartment and just adds to the mess and chaos that is our home. I live on the third floor so getting this to my car would take a couple of trips and would be exhausting in this heat. Mostly I just wait till my husband gets home and since he is an over the road truck driver it could be weeks before that happens.
Sometimes I wonder how long I can keep this up.
You are doing a great thing. You will continue to do this and then teach your son the right thing also.

what i don't like is the price.
i know it may be an extra step in your day. but the little you do always goes a long way. i think its cool that you go out of your way to do something good for the earth. now if only everyone did it.
Good for you! Tampa and Brandon certainly don't make it easy to recycle. They do not pick it up from apt complexes and no longer have drop off points except for USF. I know it's a bitch but that's awesome that you do it. Some people have it picked up from the curb and still won't do it so kudos!
ReplyDeletejust come drop it off at my house!
